VUSIC - Realtime visualisation for musical performance
VUSIC showcases the ‘proof of concept’ of real-time 3D for live musical performance. Think of the days of silent films when the action on the screen dictated the mood of the music played in accompaniment. VUSIC turns this concept on its head!
With Vusic, the music itself drives the visuals on a screen. We’ve chosen Debussy’s ‘Claire de Lune’, the third movement of his ‘Suite Bergamasque’ to demonstrate the concept. The atmospheric and dreamlike qualities of the piece are enhanced by visuals showing a magical underwater world.
